Stonewalling
Over the past 20 years, I've built a self-sufficient farm-let in south-west Victoria named "Potteroo". It is here that I have learnt the craft of stonewalling. Using rocks from my property, I've constructed boundary walls, fenced paddocks, built a house and studio. The old dry stone walls are a feature of this area and echo a time when professional wallers used horses and carts to carve out rabbit proof fences. They are timeless creations, providing a safe habitat for animals and livestock. These walls now provide protection for the breading of peacocks.
